2D-1N Trekking Crater Rim Tembesi start Timbanuh
- Trekking and hiking to Tembesi Crater (2,850m), which is the highest Plawangan (crater) in Gunung Rinjani National Park and closest to the Volcano (Gunung Baru Jari), is an exciting adventure as the trails and location are clean and natural and few hikers come to this location.
- This expedition is an ascent of Rinjani from Timbanuh, 850 meters above sea level, to the rim of the Tembesi crater at 2,850 meters, a camping site very close to Mount Baru Jari and Segara Anak Lake.
- Watching the beautiful view to Segara Anak lake, sunset and sunrise can be from inside the tent and and day 2 back to Timbanuh and Tetebatu.
Details of 2 Days 1 Night Hike to Plawangan Tembesi
Day of arrival (Day 0):
- We will pick you up at Lombok airport or elsewhere on Lombok Island and transfer you to your hotel in Tetebatu.
- Meet with a Rinjani trekking guide who will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.
Day 1 Trekking:
- Wake up at 7am and have breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer from hotel to Timbanuh.
- Registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) Timbanuh 850m
- Start hike to POS 1 (1,200 M) walk 2 hours, rest 15 minutes at POS 1
- Walk to POS 2 for 1 hour (1,400m), rest 15 minutes
- Continue to POS 3 (1,700m), 1 hour walk. Lunch will be prepared at POS 3 and rest for 2 hours.
- 4-hour walk to Crater Rim (Plawangan Tembesi 2,850m)
- Dinner and overnight at Crater Rim Tembesi, and enjoy the beautiful views of Segara Anak Lake, Mount Baru Jari, sunset and sunrise for the next day.

Day 2 Trekking:
- Wake up at 6.30am, have breakfast and enjoy the sunrise view.
- 8.00 am Back to Timbanuh.
Walk along the same path to Timbanuh village, taking 6-7 hours to reach Timbanuh village. - Lunch (fresh fruits and snacks) will be prepared at POS 3 or POS 2.
- Transfer to hotel in Tetebatu
- Prepare your luggage and depart for the next destination on Lombok Island.
