Overview

Mount Rinjani Climbing Package to Peak 3 days 2 nights starts from Sembalun to Plawangan Sembalun, peak, Segara Anak Lake and back to Senaru or Torean village.

This program is suitable for experienced hikers or those with excellent fitness levels who can walk up and down for an average of 8.5 hours per day.

Trekking Package Price Included:

1. Licensed and experienced mountain guides and local porters.

2. One night hotel accommodation in Sembalun before the trek.

3. Full camping equipment including tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows, cooking utensils and toilet tents.

4. Three meals a day with warm drinks, 2 large bottles of mineral water + unlimited boiled water, soft drinks, and fresh fruit.

5. Entrance fee to Mount Rinjani National Park

6. Pick-up and drop-off transportation (pp) from Kuta Lombok, airport, Mataram, Senggigi, and Bangsal to Sembalun.

Schedule Details

Day of arrival (Day 0)
  • We will pick you up at Lombok airport or elsewhere on Lombok Island and transfer you to your hotel in Sembalun.
  • Meet with a Rinjani trekking guide who will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.
Overview of the trekking trail on day 1
  • Distance: 10 km
  • Hiking duration: 6-7 hours
  • Difficulty level: Medium
  • Highest point: 2,639 m (Plawangan Sembalun)
  • Altitude gain: +1.539 m
Day 1 Trekking
  • Wake up at 7am and have breakfast
  • Registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) 1051 m
  • Start hiking to POS 1 (Pemantauan Post 1,300 M) walk 2 hours, rest 15 minutes at POS 1
  • Walk to Post 2 for 1 hour (Tengengean Post 1,500m), rest 15 minutes
  • Continue to Post 3 (Pada Balong 1,800m), 1 hour walk. Lunch will be prepared at POS 3 and rest for 2 hours.
  • 3-hour walk to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun 2,639m)
  • Have dinner and spend the night in tent at Crater Rim Sembalun, and enjoy the sunset and sunrise for the next day.
Day 2 Trekking
  • Woke up at 2.30 am, have a light breakfast.
  • Hike to Rinjani Peak (3,726m), travel time about 2,5 – 3 hours 
  • Enjoy the sunrise from the summit, you can see the entire island of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
  • Return to camp for breakfast and rest
  • Walk down to Segara Anak Lake (2,000m) and Hot Springs for 2,5 – 3 hours.
  • Lunch will be provided at Segara Anak Lake, the hot spring is only 100m away from the lake.
  • After enjoying the hot springs and lunch at the lake, prepare to descend to Propok Camp 1,600 meters above sea level for + 2.5 hours.
  • The camp will be set up at Propok Camp by the river.
  • Enjoy dinner and rest in a tent.

  • Distance: 11 km
  • Walking duration: 12 hours
  • Difficulty level: Difficult

Day 3 Trekking
  • Wake up at 6am for breakfast
  • Enjoy the sunrise
  • 07.00 am Start descent to Torean with 2 Hours on Open Treat for 4.5 hours trek in the forest.
  • Lunch will be prepared on the way at Birisan Nangka 1,100m.
  • Arrive around 2 pm in Torean.
  • Our driver will be waiting for you with the luggage you left before the hike.
  • Transfer to your next destination on the island of Lombok.
  • Program Completed.

Physical Preparation
